The acclaimed Stanford Afro-Latin Jazz Ensemble, directed by Murray Low, presents its Winter Concert!  The group has an exciting program lined up, including a few firsts - modern jazz arrangements of centuries-old Sephardic music from Spain, new Afro-Brazilian grooves, and multi-cultural songs from today's artists!   Of course, we've got our usual mix of songs spanning the entire Latin Jazz idiom -- starting with an eighty year old Danzon, through classic salsa and samba, and finally to modern instrumental Mambo Jazz.
