 While caring for an aging family member can be rewarding\, it can also hav
 e a significant impact on the health and well-being of the caregiver. Navi
 gating demands on time\, emotional energy\, and attention can be overwhelm
 ing\, so developing coping and respite strategies are critical to the over
 all health of the family as well as the family caregiver.\n\nThis free web
 inar will focus on self-care strategies as both a daily practice and a lon
 g-term proactive planning challenge. The goal: seize your day\, your time\
 , your energy for yourself.\n\nThis webinar is part of the Aging Wisely cl
 ass series\, providing a compassionate environment to explore your questio
 ns and concerns and help you gain a holistic perspective on how to approac
 h long-term care planning for yourself or a loved one. Through presentatio
 ns and online discussions\, you will learn strategies and tools to help yo
 u assess your specific long-term care needs and explore solutions to commo
 n questions related to care planning.\n\nWhether you are a caregiver to ot
 hers or interested in your own future care\, you will have the opportunity
  to develop a customized long-term care roadmap supporting you to successf
 ully plan for care\, with the input\, advice and support of an expert in g
 erontology.\n\nThis class will be recorded and a one-week link to the reco
 rding will be shared with all registered participants. To receive incentiv
 e points\, attend at least 80% of the live session or listen to the entire

 nd is the manager of the Care Partners program at Avenidas in Palo Alto. S
 he is an expert in navigating health care transitions\, caregiver support\
 , and legal\, financial and health care resources. Paula has supported the
  Stanford community for many years\, offering individual consultation and
