Event Details:
Dr. Geraldine Dawson will present findings from two AI-focused projects:
- a novel approach to autism screening based on computer vision and machine learning
- the application of machine learning to electronic health records for early prediction of autism and related neurodevelopmental conditions
Dr. Dawson is the William Cleland Distinguished Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Duke University.
She currently directs the NIH Autism Center of Excellence at Duke University, an interdisciplinary research program focused on translational digital health and computational approaches to autism screening tools, outcome measures, and brain-based biomarkers.
