Interns will receive a stipend of $1,000 & 1 FGSS unit for their commitment. 

We aim to provide interns with:

• A warm introduction to the WCC

• An empowering and inclusive sense of community and belonging on campus

• Meaningful co-curricular involvement

• The opportunity to explore issues of gender, equity, and social justice in a safe and non-judgmental environment

• A mentoring relationship with a WCC student staff member that they shadow

• An opportunity to design a project that will publicize a subject of interest to the larger Stanford community

• Training, team-building, and professional development exercises and activities

• Interns will receive a small stipend

We are looking for interns with the ability to:

• Work as part of a team

• Communicate strongly

• Commit 3-4 hours per week working at the WCC throughout the school year. These hours would be spent on a combination of:

  • Attending intern meetings & participating in intern cohort community building

  • Working at the WCC during staff office hours (10 AM - 6 PM)

  • Participating in an Intern Project in the winter quarter

  • Assisting WCC staff members with their programs
