The Stanford Physician Leadership Certificate Program is a cohort-based foundational learning experience where you will discover how to learn and implement the most important leadership skills that will take your career as a physician to the next level of success.
The program provides participants with an evidence-based framework for personal growth, key management and leadership skills, and deep connection with peers. The program utilizes cases and simulations, plus peer and professional coaching that provides holistic support for the participants to understand, practice, and cultivate effective interpersonal, management, and leadership skills. Participants complete several psychometric tools that shed light on personal competencies and facilitate each participant’s leadership development plan.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
The program's content is oriented to the context of healthcare education and delivery in the United States. Past participants come from academic medicine, community practice, and for-profit healthcare systems.
PROGRAM FEES
$6500: Program Fee includes live virtual sessions, on-demand modules, group coaching sessions, three 1:1 professional coaching sessions, psychometric assessments, and more.
Accreditation Statement
In support of improving patient care, Stanford Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
Credit Designation
American Medical Association (AMA) Stanford Medicine designates this Other activity (synchronous and asynchronous sessions) for a maximum of 33.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Stanford Medicine is authorized to award pre-approved ACHE Qualified Education credit for programs toward advancement or recertification in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Participants in select programs wishing to have the continuing education hours applied toward ACHE Qualified Education credit must self-report their participation. To self-report ACHE activities, log into your MyACHE account and select ACHE Qualified Education Credit.
