 , Garo Paylan\, former deputy of the Grand National Assembly of the Republ
 ic of Turkey.\n\nSpeaker: Istanbul-born Garo Paylan is a Turkish-Armenian 
 politician known for his strong advocacy of minority rights\, particularly
  those of the Jewish\, Kurdish\, and Armenian communities inside and outsi
 de Turkey. Deputy Paylan is a member of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (H
 DP) and has been active in addressing issues related to discrimination\, h
 uman rights\, and freedom of religious expression in Turkey\, often speaki
 ng out against government policies that he sees as unjust or oppressive. H
 is work is significant in Turkey’s complex political landscape and histo
 ry of minority rights abuses.\n\n Twice nominated for the Nobel Peace Priz
 e and the recipient of the prestigious Grand Vermeil Medal\, Garo Paylan
