Event Details:
Join us for a casual conversation over boba with Stanford Medicine student and author Grace D. Li, as we celebrate her New York Times best-selling novel Portrait of a Thief, now in development at Netflix. Portrait of a Thief is a cultural heist and an examination of Chinese American identity, as well as a necessary critique of the lingering effects of colonialism.
Learn more about Grace’s experience as a former Anderson and Cantor Student Guide, the role of museums in shaping history, and the power of art and fiction. This event is open to Stanford students only. Boba is limited to the first 20 RSVPs.
