Ballet Folklórico de Stanford will host their annual spring performance showcasing traditional folk dances from several regions of Mexico. Founded in 1972, Ballet Folklórico de Stanford has been dedicated to the teaching and diffusion of traditional art forms of regional folk dances across Mexico for over 50 years. This spring, we continue this cherished tradition with our annual showcase of cultural performances. Our program will feature dances from 8 regions of Mexico: Aguascalientes, Chiapas, Colima, Durango, Jalisco, Michoacán, Nuevo León, Oaxaca! We will feature several guest performers (both musical and dance performances) throughout the event. Come enjoy an evening of vibrant performances and the rich cultural heritage of Mexico's diverse regions. Co-sponsored by El Centro Chicano y Latino and StanfordArts. Registration is required
