Guido Imbens, recipient of the 2021 Nobel Prize in Economics, talks with Ran Abramitzky, professor of economics, about econometrics and statistics, specifically development of methods for drawing causal inferences in observational studies. Get a glimpse into Imbens’ personal and professional path, how his ideas made a difference in the world, and what advice he has for students and for researchers.
