Event Details:

Steven Chu, recipient of the 1997 Nobel Prize in Physics, talks with Ran Abramitzky, professor of economics, about physics, molecular and cellular physiology, and energy science and engineering. Get a glimpse into Chu’s personal and professional path, including his time as U.S. secretary of energy; how his ideas made a difference in the world; and what advice he has for students and for researchers.

This event is part of the Big Ideas series hosted by Abramitzky featuring conversations with Stanford’s Nobel Laureates and MacArthur “Genius” Fellows.
