Dan Jurafsky, a 2002 MacArthur Fellow and professor of linguistics and computer science, talks with Ran Abramitzky, professor of economics, about natural language processing and its application to the social and cognitive sciences. Get a glimpse into Jurafsky’s personal and professional path, how his ideas made a difference in the world, and what advice he has for students and for researchers.
