Rev. Askia K. Stewart's bio:

A son, a brother, and a friend, Askia Stewart Jr has been a lifetime member of the Historic Tanner Chapel A.M.E Church and calls the City of Phoenix his “home”. Growing up in the valley, Askia wanted to attend university close to home and received his Bachelors of Global Management in the Fall of 2018. After attending Arizona State University, Askia has found himself in multiple positions utilizing his love and passion for videography and photography. Growing up A.M.E, Askia has been passionate about the Youth for a very long time. In his role as youth minister at Tanner Chapel AME Church, Askia is looking to help teens across the valley find God. As of this past Desert Mountain Annual Conference, he was ordained as an Itinerant Deacon in the AME Church. As Askia grows in his religious, personal, and professional life, he will look to continue following in the footsteps that God has graced him for.
