DESCRIPTION:Join us as Sutton and Rao teach people how to become “frictio
n fixers.”\n\nSutton and Rao say skilled friction fixers think and act l
ike trustees of others’ time. They provide friction forensics to help re
aders identify where to avert and repair bad organizational friction and w
here to maintain and inject good friction. Then their help pyramid shows h
ow friction fixers do their work\, from reframing friction troubles they c
an’t fix right now\, so they feel less threatening\, to designing and re
pairing organizations. Sutton and Rao dig into the causes and solutions fo
r five of the most common and damaging friction troubles: oblivious leader
s\, addition sickness\, broken connections\, jargon monoxide\, and fast an
d frenzied people and teams.\n\nSound familiar? Sutton and Rao are here to
