We are delighted to invite you to a book reading and talk featuring author Faith Kazmi, Associate Dean and Director of the Stanford Women's Community Center, and her debut picture book, Box of Dreams.
Inspired by her Filipino heritage and the tradition of sending a balikbayan box filled with love back home, Faith will share her creative journey, the story behind Box of Dreams, and insights into the world of children's publishing.

About Faith:
Faith Kazmi is the Associate Dean and Director of the Stanford Women’s Community Center and is celebrating her debut picture book, BOX OF DREAMS, released on May 7, 2024. Inspired by her Filipino heritage and the practice of sending a balikbayan box back home to loved ones, Faith will share her creative journey, the story behind BOX OF DREAMS, and children’s publishing. Books will be available for sale from the Stanford Bookstore and refreshments will be served. This event is part of Asian American and Pasifika Heritage Month co-sponsored by the Asian American Activities Center, The Women's Community Center, and the Filipino American Community at Stanford.
