Box of Sand—a co-production with Stanford TheaterLab—is a devised physical theater/dance project. In the sandbox of a theater, an ensemble of seven human beings live through the duration of a performance as they play and create. Without a script or a linear narrative, the show dives into the poetics of movement, touch, and togetherness. It also dives into lots of sand.
