 of Mt. Vesuvius and Krakatoa\, the Great Kantō earthquake in Japan\, oil 
 spills in the Gulf of Mexico\, and the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nag
 asaki.\n\nThursday\, November 14\, 2024 from 1-3pm in Branner Library (2nd
  Floor\, Mitchell Earth Sciences Building). \n\nWhile you're here\, check 
 out our current and related book & map exhibit - Naturally Hazardous: Impa
 cts. \n\nA current Stanford ID is needed to enter the library\, visitors m
