Redefining Antisemitism in the United States: A Historical Approach
Time: 5:00pm
Place: Terrace Room (Bldg 460, rm. 426)
Ongoing conversations about antisemitism either fail to define what precisely constitutes antisemitism and/or simplify the phenomenon by describing it as a conspiracy theory or in terms of specific speech. Dr. Britt Tevis (Columbia University) will offer a more nuanced way to think about antisemitism based on its historical manifestations in the American past.
