Event Details:
This exhibition was scheduled to open on January 9. Due to the recent storms, it has been pushed back to January 11. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Throughout history, enthusiasts have developed methods to describe and rate performance systematically. Based on archival collections at Stanford, this exhibit explores the genesis of these systems as means for quantifying experiences like the difficulty of a rock climbing route or the quality of the ride that an automobile provides.
This exhibit is free and open to the public during library hours.
