You will need coloured pencils and paper for this Guided Practice experience. Using pencils and paper, going into stillness and quietness to watch and observe. The mind rests while the deeper self watches and sees. Indigenous (Tsm'syen, Coast Salish and Sweat Lodge peoples) ceremonial teachings for the present moment of reflection.
Patricia June Vickers, PhD, belongs to the Eagle clan from the village of Gitxaala, British Columbia where she carries a feast hall name as well as one from the Nuxalk village in Bella Coola, British Columbia. She completed her interdisciplinary doctorate studying the transformative aspects of Tsm'syen ancestral law. With the help of neurofeedback and ancestral principles, she teaches spiritual transformation, healing trauma, awakening, forgiveness and unearthing layers to find the authentic self.
Dr. Vickers also will be offering a sesison titled Adaawx: Sacred Stories and Healing on Oct. 23 and leading an Interactive workshop titled Integrating the Sacred Stories of Our Ancestors on Oct. 24. You are welcome to participate in one or all three of the sessions offered by Dr. Patricia June Vickers during the Contemplation by Design Summit.
