CBD 2024: Living and Healing from a Center of Unbreakable Wholeness with Richard Miller, PhD

This event is over.

Event Details:

The teachings of yoga nidra (practices for embodying unchanging wholeness amidst the ever-changing circumstances of life) reveal that which is already and always Whole and Healthy within us—that never needs fixing, changing, or healing. From this perspective, we are not, as students, clients, patients, or practitioners, practicing or engaging healing approaches to become whole. We are practicing from our innate Wholeness, and this is our birthright. With this understanding firmly and somatically in place, we can then address what needs healing in the body and mind.

Come explore through lecture, dialogue, and experiential practice six contemplative inquiries that have been handed down to us through the ancient teachings of nondual meditation. These six central inquiries enable us to recognize and directly experience our essential indestructible Wholeness and Well-Being. These simple inquiries elegantly enable us to feel deeply empowered and connected to ourselves and the world around us, during every step of our journey through life of physical and psychological health, healing, and spiritual awakening, as well as through the dying process.

Handout included with this presentation.

This workshop is one session in the three-part series taught by Richard Miller during the Contemplation by Design Summit. You are welocme to attend on or all three sessions. The other sessions are titled iPause Guided Practice #3 Embodying Health and Healing and Unbreakable Wholeness on Oct. 25 and iRest Yoga Nidra: Living, Healing and Dying in Wholeness on Oct. 27.
