Event Details:
Born into an Asian-American family recently immigrated to the United States, Anushka studied Buddhism at Harvard before shifting from an intellectual approach to embarking on a path of intensive spiritual practice. Anushka's journey includes more than five years of silent contemplative practice in monasteries and lay practice centers in the US, India, and Sri Lanka. She also has spent years developing an integrated practice while living in cities, holding a regular job, and commuting to work. Along the way she got an MBA and began integrating dharma into leadership development work.
This lecture is one of three sessions offered by Anushka Fernandopulle in the Contemplation By Design Summit. You are welcome to join one or all of her sessions. The other sessions include a lecture titled Mindfulness and Leadership: The Path of Practice, on October 24th, and a guided practice titled Cultivating Qualities of Heart and Mind for Leadership, also on October 24th.
Please note: The Path to Practice with Anushka Fermamdopulle will not be recorded. Please join us for this lecture live online.
