Maria Mohammed is an Associate at Structural Focus with 11 years of experience designing buildings in Southern California. Maria is also an EERI Housner Fellow (Class of 2022). The Fellows have been developing a data collection tool that will be used for earthquake reconnaissance to inform functional recovery code development. Maria is heavily involved in the Structural Engineering industry; she is President-Elect of SEAOSC (Structural Engineers Association of Southern California) and a Board member of SEAOC. Maria is also a part-time adjunct lecturer at USC where she teaches upper division structural design courses.
