Please join us on Wednesday, November 19th, for the final lecture of the 2025 Environmental Justice Colloquium!
Climate Migration: Advancing Climate Justice and Health Equity, featuring Prof. Maxine Burkett, Jackie Qatalina Shaeffer, and Ama Francis.
This panel brings together leading thinkers and advocates in climate justice, health equity, and climate change and human mobility. Panelists will discuss community experiences of climate displacement and relocation, ranging from the Caribbean to Alaska Native Villages. They will also introduce key strategies for advancing human and civil rights, domestically and across borders, in the context of rapidly changing environments.
Lectures are from 12:00pm - 1:20pm in Building 300-300. (This location is located behind Memorial Church, and you may enter from the fire access road that runs behind the main quad.)
