Conservation Services at Stanford University Libraries celebrates Preservation Week with a pop-up exhibition in collaboration with Special Collections. In addition to a live papyrus treatment demonstration, a variety of materials from medieval manuscripts to bespoke protective enclosures will be on display.

Each year, libraries across the U.S. participate in the American Libraries Association’s Preservation Week to highlight what we can do to care for personal and community collections and raise awareness of the role of libraries and cultural institutions in ongoing preservation education.

Drop by Barchas Room (Green Library West 200 - entrance through the Lane Reading Room) anytime between 10:00am - 11:30am on Monday, April 28th to chat with conservation staff and see how conservation work impacts Special Collections materials.
