Event Details:
Perimenopause can bring changes in sleep, energy, mood, body composition, and overall well-being. Although food cannot prevent the natural hormonal changes that occur during this stage of life, research suggests that dietary patterns and lifestyle choices can help manage symptoms and support long-term muscle, bone, brain, metabolic, and cardiovascular health.
Join us for a virtual cooking demonstration focused on creating satisfying, practical meals during perimenopause and menopause. Through recipes for breakfast, snacks, dinner, and dessert, you will learn how to incorporate protein, fiber, healthy fats, and plant foods in ways that support more balanced energy, blood sugar regulation, digestive health, and satiety.
While demonstrating the recipes and cooking techniques, we will share current research on food and lifestyle practices during midlife, as well as realistic strategies for building balanced meals, supporting muscle and bone health, and making nutritious choices easier during busy or low-energy days.
Ingredient substitutions, including a variety of protein options, will be demonstrated or suggested to accommodate most dietary needs and preferences. By the end of the session, you will have approachable recipes and practical strategies to support yourself or someone you care about through the menopausal transition and beyond.
This class will be recorded and a one-week link to the recording will be shared with all registered participants.
To receive incentive points, attend at least 80% of the live session or listen to the entire recording within one week.
