 This session will review the current evidence regarding attention-deficit/
 hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)\, with a specific focus on preschool-age chi
 ldren. We will discuss how to avoid over- and under-diagnosis of ADHD in y
 oung children\, when to offer evidence-based treatments\, and what are the
  short-term and long-term benefits of treatment. We will highlight gaps an
 d disparities in quality-of-care provided by pediatricians\, and outline h
 ow\, with AI support\, we can improve care and outcomes for young children
  with ADHD and their families. We will also provide information on how to 
 refer preschool-age children with ADHD to a new clinical trial of medicati
 on treatment at Stanford DBP.\n\nEDUCATION GOALS\n\nDescribe the current s
 cientific evidence on ADHD throughout the life course\, including the impo
 rtance of early identification\, effective treatments\, and long-term outc
 omes.Recognize gaps and disparities in quality-of-care provided by pediatr
