Event Details:

Join former GuideStar CEO Jacob Harold (MBA '05) as he discusses the need -- and potential -- for a new discipline: social change strategy.  From farm to monastery, jail to boardroom, Mr. Harold’s life has been a search for ways to make a better world. He served as CEO of GuideStar, cofounder of Candid, and as a staff leader at the Hewlett Foundation, Bridgespan, Greenpeace, and Rainforest Action Network.

Mr. Harold’s  new book, The Toolbox: Strategies for Crafting Social Impact, is designed to support anyone working for a better world—whether in business, government, or the social sector. See recent coverage in Harvard Business Review, Fast Company, Associated Press, and more.

Presented by the Center for Social Innovation at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, in partnership with the Stanford Center for Philanthropy and Civil Society. Free and open to the campus and community. Limited visitor parking is available after 5 pm in the Knight Management Center parking garage at 655 Knight Way, Stanford, CA 94305.
