Creating Effective and Inclusive Learning Experiences for Neurodiverse Students

Students with ADHD, learning disabilities, autism spectrum conditions, and mental health challenges are entering higher education in greater numbers, and these conditions can present instructors and students with unique educational challenges.

In this workshop, participants will learn more about neurodiversity, how it may present in the classroom, and how it could challenge learning. Drawing on this knowledge and evidence-based teaching strategies, participants will develop ways to create an effective and inclusive learning environment. You will come away with an expanded understanding of neurodiversity and how it can challenge learning, and strategies to make learning more accessible for your students.
