Who creates the maps?  How?  And, what is at stake?

Long before billions can be invested in clean energy projects, a multi-agency process for Long Range Planning shapes the landscape of opportunity for new resources - and the prospects for retiring old ones.

Emily Leslie is the founder of Montara Mountain Energy and is a Stanford alumna who also teaches in Spring Quarter the course called Spatial Planning for Gigascale Renewables & Transmission (CEE 176M / 276M). She is an expert in scenario analysis and maps inform decisions at the largest scale in California's energy economy. This is your chance to gain a more vivid perspective on how that works, and what it means.

Emcee:  Explore Energy Peer Advisor and ace in spatial planning for giga-scale renewables and transmission, Ariana Carmody
