We invite you to view the Department of African and African American Studies (DAAAS) Diaspora in Focus Photography Exhibition: Student Perspectives from Ghana and Jamaica from October 14 to December 5, 2025 at Gunn Foyer Gallery, McMurtry Building at Stanford University (355 Roth Way, Stanford, CA 94305). 

This exhibition, curated by Dr. Katie Dieter, features photographs from students who participated in two Bing Overseas Studies Program Global Seminars: “The Arts in Jamaica: Exploring Knowledge Production, Community, and Resistance,” taught by Dr. Katie Dieter and “Interdisciplinary Introduction to African Urban Studies,” taught by Professor Ato Quayson.
