Event Details:
For those interested in learning more about the exciting work being done in the disaster resilience space (and the opportunity to interface with community experts), we invite you to enroll in the 1-unit CEE 209S Disaster Resilience Seminar, organized by the Stanford Urban Resilience Initiative.
Throughout Autumn quarter, we will be meeting weekly at 12:30pm on Wednesdays, both in person at Huang 18 and virtually over Zoom (please email for link and password).
This year's lineup of speakers represents a diverse set of backgrounds; many of the presentations probe issues close to home, and others look at emerging hazards across the nation and beyond.
This is a great opportunity to identify potential areas of interest/future work, both in academic or professional capacities. If you have any questions about enrollment in the course, seminar speakers/topics, please reach out to Omar Issa (oissa@stanford.edu) or Neetesh Sharma (neetesh@stanford.edu).
