 or.\n\nAbout our speaker:\n\nDr. Tatsunori Hashimoto is an Assistant Profes
 sor of Computer Science at Stanford University\, where his research focuses
  on developing more robust and trustworthy machine learning systems. His wo
 rk applies statistical tools to improve reliability and fairness in complex
  models such as large language models\, with interests spanning long-tail b
 ehavior\, out-of-domain understanding\, and bias mitigation. Before joining
  Stanford’s faculty\, he was a postdoctoral researcher with John Duchi and 
 Percy Liang at Stanford and earned his PhD from MIT\, where he was co-advis
 ed by Tommi Jaakkola and David Gifford.\n\n---\n\nOur seminar series on "To
