Event Details:
Regular medical care with a trusted provider is an important part of your wellness plan, whether your visit is an annual wellness check-up or to address a specific medical concern. Yet the amount of time you are able to spend with your provider is often limited. What can you do to optimize your visit?
In this noontime webinar, Stanford primary care physician Dr. Randall Stafford will discuss strategies to get the most benefits from your remote or in-person doctors' appointments. You will learn how to anticipate the information doctors often need as well as ways to redirect conversations when necessary, including how to prompt doctors to provide fuller explanations of important facts or concepts. We will also discuss ways to find recommended screening and preventive care based on your health profile. Walk away with tools that will help you have more effective doctors’ visits and feel empowered to take a larger role in your own healthcare.
This class will be recorded and a one-week link to the recording will be shared with all registered participants. Attend the live session or listen to the recording within one week to receive incentive points.
