The Dior Quartet performs as part of the SLSQ Emerging String Quartet Program (ESQP).
Joined together from Israel, Korea-Canada, Saint Lucia, and the USA, the Dior String Quartet is the Quartet-in-Residence at the Glenn Gould School, Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. The repertoire and projects they pursue intersect with their multicultural backgrounds and moral values, as they seek to explore the immigrant experience through art.
This ESQP provides a young ensemble opportunities similar to what the SLSQ enjoyed in their early years through an intensive week of community outreach. The up-and-coming musicians gain valuable experience performing for varied audiences in a short period of time while the greater Stanford community benefits from the input of energy and contact with the young ensemble.
