The Stanford Sustainability Forum will bring together students, faculty, and visitors to engage with Stanford’s Living Laboratory for Sustainability through a series of open houses and energy systems tours.

For this week at the Explore Energy seminar, students will explore two featured tours and connect with Forum guests! These experiences include a visit to the $438 million money-saving Central Energy Facility, which showcases Stanford’s integrated thermal energy system, and the new GS Microgrid at the O’Donohue Family Stanford Educational Farm, a proof-of-concept on-site renewable energy and agroecological applications.

When: Tuesday, April 28 (tours at 3:00 or 4:00 PM) or Wednesday, April 29 (9:30 or 10:30 AM)

Where: Stanford Central Energy Facility

Who: Open to all campus community members every week!

This event can be shared broadly.

Optional social dinner at Ricker Dining at 5:00 PM and lunch at 11:30 AM.
