Dr. Rimvydas Baltaduonis from SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory will lead a hands-on learning session on wholesale (day-ahead) power markets.

Participants will have an opportunity to step into the shoes of power generators and electricity suppliers, and to experience first-hand the formulation of energy bids, market clearing, and effects of the market design choices on market behavior.

No special knowledge about power markets or energy economics is necessary.  Punctual start:  6pm check-in for simulation instructions in order to participate​.
