Geoprocessing tools are an important part of most spatial analysis workflows. These tools typically work on a input dataset and create a new output dataset with modified attributes or geometry. These modified datasets are then used in further geoprocessing or spatial analysis tasks to complete some geospatial workflow, illuminate a spatial pattern, or answer a spatial question.

This workshop will cover a handful basic geoprocessing tools in ArcGIS Pro including Buffers, Spatial Selections, and Spatial Summaries. Users will learn where to find geoprocessing tools in ArcGIs Pro, how to review your geoprocessing history and results, where to find the python reference for specific tools, and how to create a basic tool workflow by combining geoprocessing tools together in Model Builder.
