Give & Go

Planning to move out this summer or just have extra stuff you no longer need?  Residential & Dining Enterprises’ (R&DE’s) annual Give & Go donation drive will be back from June 8 to June 21! This initiative gathers unused household and personal items and donates them to Goodwill, Recycle for Change, and Stanford's First Generation/Low-Income students. Donating through this program helps Stanford achieve its zero waste objectives by avoiding landfill waste and while supporting those in need in our local community and at Stanford. Keep an eye out for the Alpacas!

What Can You Give?

You can give clothes, shoes, books, bikes, mattresses, sporting equipment, furniture, electronics, small appliances, and non-perishable food. We will accept anything in usable condition.  

When and Where Can You Give?

All items are accepted from June 8 - June 21 at the 12 Alpaca stations across campus. Check out the Give & Go website to see the donation location map!  

Why Give?

Giving helps Stanford meet its zero waste goals by keeping material out of landfills while helping those in need in our local community and at Stanford. Thank you for contributing to the Give & Go program, helping divert more than 397 tons of material from the landfill!
