Since the public artwork Hello by Xu Zhen was installed as the inaugural Plinth Project commission in early 2022, the sculpture has been embraced as a campus icon (including through its affectionate student nickname, “The Churro”). The temporary exhibition period is now ending, and the artwork will be de-installed this summer.
 
Join us for a “Goodbye, Hello” party on Thursday, June 6, from 3-5pm at the Plinth site in Meyer Green. This is a chance for the campus community to say farewell (while enjoying churros, of course) and prepare to welcome a new temporary artwork to the Plinth location in the fall.
