Come learn about Gospel Music and techniques! Come be in fellowship! Come sing on Wednesday and Thursday or just come out to the final night for the festival of music on Friday!
The 2nd Annual Gospel Fest Workshop and Performance at Memorial Church will be led by Rev. Dr. Jason Thompson (PhD, Northwestern University). Thompson ascribes to a belief that the core values of equity, inclusion, and belonging are central to and indivisible from intellectual and artistic excellence. This belief has been a connective thread across his more than 20 years in the profession as a public school music teacher, university professor, community teaching artists, and administrator for equity and inclusion.
