The Woods Institute for the Environment, in collaboration with the Haas Center for Public Service and Stanford in Government, offers undergraduates paid summer internships that provide a hands-on introduction to environmental policy work. For 2023, students will have the opportunity to work at the intersection of science, policy, and management with our partners at the CA Ocean Protection Council, CA State Water Resources Control Board/Office of Information Management and Analysis, San Francisco Department of the Environment, Green Science Policy Institute, CA Governor's Office of Planning and Research/Strategic Growth Council, CA State Lands Commission, CA Air Resources Board/Office of Community Air Pollution, and Delta Stewardship Council.

The internships are full-time (35-40 hours/week) for 9 to 10 consecutive weeks over the summer. EPIC fellows receive a $7,500 - $9,000 stipend, depending on financial need.
The deadline to apply is Tuesday, February 7, 2023.
