This session brings together three leaders shaping India’s AI future: Paula Mariwala, Founding Partner of Aureolis Ventures and founder of Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs India, will share insights on India’s sovereign AI strategy and investment landscape; Sharad Sanghi, Founder and CEO of Neysa Networks, will discuss building cloud and infrastructure optimized for Indian IT environments; and Raoul Nanavati, Co-Founder and CEO of Navana.ai, will highlight the creation of voice-first, multilingual AI models tailored to India’s diverse population.
Guided by US-ATMC Director Dr. Richard Dasher, the conversation will explore how India’s home-grown AI innovations—and the policies and investments behind them—could shape approaches across the G-20 and the Global South.

Stanford students may register for 1-unit seminar credit; course EASTASN-402A, cross listed as EE-402A and EALC-402A. While technical approaches will be introduced, most content should be accessible with only a general IT user background.
