Samuel Wong, MD, PhD, will review non-pharmacological evidence-based interventions for common mental health condition such as depression and anxiety. He will also talk about alternative and complementary interventions that are popular among Asian populations in the community with an update on the most recent evidence from clinical trials.
Samuel Wong, MD, PhD, is the Director of the JC School of Public Health and Primary Care and the Associate Dean of the Faculty of Medicine. He is also the Founding Director of the Thomas Jing Centre for Mindfulness Research and Training. Professor Wong’s research interests include evaluating and developing mindfulness- based and mental health interventions in primary care, evaluating primary care services, and developing primary care service models as well as multimorbidity.
