Natasha Warikoo is Lenore Stern Professor in the Social Sciences, Department of Sociology, at Tufts University. A former Guggenheim Fellow, Warikoo is an expert on racial and ethnic inequality in education. In Is Affirmative Action Fair? The Myth of Equity in College Admissions (September 2022), Warikoo argues that we should rethink college admissions, and walks readers through evidence suggesting the value of affirmative action. She offers ideas that education innovators can follow to develop new approaches to achieving diversity in higher education.
Warikoo will be interviewed by Matthew Rascoff, vice provost for digital education at Stanford University.
