Event Details:
A celebration of chosen family, Jackie Liu’s Family Tree is the culmination of a multimedia project created over the summer of 2023 involving painting, photography, and writing. In this body of work, Liu explores the importance of family constructed by acts of free will rather than accidents of blood, investigates how relationships with others can constitute the self, and pays homage to those who taught her unconditional love.
Jackie Liu ‘25 is a junior majoring in Art Practice and double-minoring in Philosophy and Environmental Justice. Her work can be found at jackieliuart.com.
