Event Details:
Dr. Nikolaos Koutsouleris will present machine-learning models fusing neuroimaging, genomics, and longitudinal clinical-behavioral data to characterize prospective outcome heterogeneity in adolescents and young adults with emerging mental-health problems. He will show how to isolate diagnostic and outcome-relevant variability and expose both transdiagnostic overlaps and syndrome-specific signatures. Dr. Koutsouleris will illustrate how these models deconvolve the complex biology that shapes early illness courses and, crucially, how they can be translated into precision-guided interventions tailored to each patient’s unique neurodevelopmental and behavioral fingerprint.
Professor Koutsouleris is Chair of Precision Psychiatry at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (Munich) and the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, King’s College (London). He is also a Fellow of the Max Planck Society at the Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry, Munich.
