 n in Münster\, Germany\, 1987) lives and works in Los Angeles\, Californi
 a. Yoo’s work has been exhibited at Gana Art Nineone\, Seoul\; K11 Art F
 oundation\, Shanhai\; Half Gallery\, New York\; Almine Rech Gallery\, Brus
 sels\; Spurs Gallery\, Beijing\; Kunstraum Potsdam\, Berlin\; and Blum and
  Poe\, Los Angeles\; Plan X Gallery\, Capri. Her work is included in publi
 c and private collections including High Museum of Art\, Atlanta\, GA\; P
 érez Collection\, Miami\, FL\; Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA)\, Miam
 i\, FL\; The FLAG Art Foundation\, New York\, NY\; Marquez Art Projects\, 
 Miami\, FL\; and Xiao Museum\, Rizhao\, China. Yoo hold a Master’s of Fi
 ne Arts in Painting from the University of California\, Los Angeles and a 
 Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.\n\n
 \nAbout the moderator:\n\nAleesa Pitchamarn Alexander oversees the collect
 ion of modern and contemporary art at the Cantor Arts Center. At the Canto
 r\, she is the curator of Spirit House (2024)\, Livien Yin: Thirsty (2024)
 \, East of the Pacific: Making Histories of Asian American Art (2022)\, an
 d The Faces of Ruth Asawa (2022). Her accompanying catalogue to Spirit Hou
 se is the museum’s first major publication of the AAAI. Alexander leads 
 the AAAI’s curatorial program and collection building\, working with art
 ists\, artist estates\, galleries\, and collectors.
