 t look like using narrative prototyping: provoking impossible questions an
 d exploring ways in which science fiction can inspire real-world discourse
 .\n\nArtist Lucy McRae leads a multi-disciplinary\, art-research studio in
 vestigating the impact future technologies have on human evolution. Design
 ing hypothetical worlds through various visual mediums such as film\, kine
 tic sculpture\, and textile design\, her work sparks discourse and researc
 h surrounding emerging fields of science. McRae’s genre-bending sci-fi f
 ilms and installations gesture to a not-so-distant future where scientific
  advancements will enable humans to be grown in laboratories outside of th
 e womb. Charting spheres of art and technology not yet labeled or defined\
 , she uses speculation as a tool to explore ideologies and ethics about wh
 o we are\, and where we are headed.
