Are you looking to harness the potential of AI to streamline your research workflow? This workshop will introduce you to the architecture and applications of Large Language Models (LLMs), empowering you to effectively and responsibly leverage them in your academic research. We will explore the use cases, possibilities, and limitations of LLMs, as well as essential considerations for their ethical use. Key topics will include: pre-processing techniques for data preparation, strategies for working with tabular data, and evaluation measures for LLM-driven research tasks. You will also gain practical experience utilizing both Stanford’s AI Playground API and local language models. By the end of the workshop, you will be equipped with the knowledge, skills, and sample code to integrate AI into your research workflow.

Registration is exclusively open to current Stanford Affiliates and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Given the limited space, a waitlist will be available once all spots are filled. (Note: To access the registration form, please ensure you are logged into Google on your current browser with your Stanford email, such as YourSUNetID@stanford.edu.)

The registration for this workshop is now closed as we have reached our capacity of 30 participants. Please sign up on the waitlist here to be notified about the next session. We will be offering another session to accommodate additional interest. Thank you for your understanding.
