The Chicana/o-Latina/o Studies Program, the Iberian and Latin American Cultures Department, Center for Latin American Studies and El Centro Chicano y Latino invite you to a conversation with Lorena Gutiérrez, who will share her story of losing her daughter Fátima, victim of a feminicide at age 12, and her ongoing fight for justice to bring an end to gender violence in México. The event will feature modes of artistic resistance against femicide, a preview of the documentary film on Lorena's struggle directed by local filmmaker Rodrigo Reyes, and a dialogue moderated by Ximena Briceño of ILAC.
